About ADU Craft Houston

What do we do?

We build backyard cottages, garage apartments, garage conversions and attached ADUs. We also handle design and permits, so one team carries the project from the first records search to the final inspection.

Where do we work?

The City of Houston, including the Heights, plus Bellaire, Pearland and Sugar Land. We work on site at your property and have no walk-in office.

How do we work?

• Paper before plans. Deed restrictions, plat, flood map and city rules come first.
• Written, itemized quotes. Each part of the work priced before construction.
• Straight answers. If a restriction or a city rule rules out what you want, we say so early.
• Dated sources. Rules on this site show when they were checked and where they came from.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. ADU Craft Houston is licensed and insured, and we share those details with your quote. Texas does not issue a statewide license for general contractors; trades such as plumbing and electrical are licensed by the state, and cities run their own permit and registration requirements.
